Daycare Program
PAT collaborates with the Turtle Wing Foundation on the Early Childhood Care Provider Early Intervention Program. Turtle Wing and PAT understand the early years of a child’s life are critical for optimal development and provide the foundation for success in school and life. Along with providing critical support to childcare providers, working parents and their families, Turtle Wing and PAT spotlight the importance of developmental screenings, early detection and intervention when developmental disabilities are identified.
"The PK3 and PK4 class at the Toddler House in Weimar, absolutely enjoy our visits with Mrs. Misty each month. It helps me in the classroom with teaching new ways to help strengthen motor skills, fun and inviting circle time, new games for indoor and outdoor activities, and anything I'm concerned about with a child's development - she will help find a solution. We love our PAT visits!" |

Many children with developmental delays are not being identified as early as possible. As a result, these children must wait to get the help they need to do well in social and educational settings (for example, in school). PAT collaborates with Turtle Wing Foundation to provide families of special needs children with extra support.
